Terms of Service

On this page
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using cnicsiminfo.pk you agree to these terms of service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms of service cover every page here, and any on-site tool you use. Reading a single guide counts as use.
2. Description of Service

CnicSimInfo is a free guide, not a service that looks anyone up. We publish informational and educational content that explains official PTA methods for checking the SIMs registered on your own CNIC. The complete guide is Check SIM Owner Details Pakistan. There are no accounts, no payments, no products and no lookup tool anywhere on this site, and nothing here returns another person’s details. How we handle the little data we collect is set out in our Privacy Policy.
3. Intellectual Property
All original content, text and design on this site are owned by CnicSimInfo and protected by law. You may read our pages and share links to them. You may not republish, copy or scrape substantial portions without written permission. Our fact-card images are the exception: they may be reused free, including commercially, under our image use policy. PTA, NADRA and operator names and marks belong to their respective owners.
4. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct

Use this site to learn about your own SIMs, and nothing else. The official methods we describe are for checking your own identity only. You must not use this site, or the information on it, for any of the following.
- Looking up other people. Do not attempt to look up, trace or identify any person other than yourself.
- Harvesting data. Do not scrape, mine or bulk-collect data from this site.
- Breaking the law. Do not use anything here in a way that violates PECA 2016 or any other law.
- Disrupting the site. Do not attack, overload or interfere with the site or its hosting.
- Passing our work off as yours. Do not republish our pages or tables as your own content. Our fact-card images are a deliberate exception: they may be reused free, even commercially, under our image use policy, which asks only for visible credit and a link back.
Allowed. You send your own 13-digit CNIC number, without dashes, to the PTA service on 668. It replies with how many SIMs are registered against that CNIC. The record is yours, and the service exists for exactly this.
Not allowed. You send a friend’s CNIC number, or a stranger’s, to the same service to see their SIMs. That breaks these terms of service. It can also be an offence under Section 16 of PECA 2016.
5. No Professional or Legal Advice
Content on this site is general information, not legal, financial or professional advice. Rules change over time, and your own situation may differ from the general case. Check anything important with PTA, NADRA or your operator before you act on it. These terms of service sit alongside that advice, not in place of it. See our Disclaimer for the full position.
6. Third-Party Links
We link to external official and reference sites so you can check what we say. We do not control those sites. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy or availability. A link from us is not an endorsement.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. That includes any warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. We take care with every page, but we cannot promise the site is free of errors.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CnicSimInfo and its author are not liable for damages arising from your use of the site, or from your reliance on anything published here. That limit covers direct, indirect, incidental and consequential damages alike.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CnicSimInfo from any claim that arises out of your misuse of the site, your violation of these terms of service, or your breach of applicable law.
10. Changes to These Terms of Service
We may modify these terms of service, or the site itself, at any time. When we do, the “last updated” date at the top of this page changes with them. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept it.
11. Governing Law

These terms of service are governed by the laws of Pakistan. The courts of Pakistan have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms of service are welcome. Write to contact [at] cnicsiminfo.pk or use the Contact page. Corrections are welcome as well, and the contact page is the fastest route for them.
These terms of service, summarized
Use the site to learn how to check and manage the SIMs on your own CNIC. That is what it is for, and it is free. Do not scrape it wholesale, and do not republish our pages as your own. Do not use anything here to reach another person’s identity, which no page on this site enables anyway. Quote freely, with attribution and a link. Ads keep the site free, and they are labelled as ads. If any of that changes, this page changes first, with a fresh “last updated” date.
Can I quote or reuse your content?
Yes for short quotes, no for wholesale copying. Quote a line or two with attribution and a link, and that is always fine. Our fact-card images go further: reuse them free under our image use policy. Full-page republication and scraped mirrors are not. For anything else, ask through the contact page.
Does using the on-site checker create an account or a record?
Neither. There are no accounts, no logins and no payments anywhere on this site. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to cancel. Any checker runs entirely inside your own browser. These terms of service stay this short because the site genuinely does that little with your data.
What happens if someone violates the acceptable-use rules?
We can restrict or block access to the site. Beyond that, the law applies on its own force, whatever these terms of service say. Where the conduct looks criminal, PECA 2016 is the statute that matters. Unauthorised lookups of another person’s identity carry up to three years in prison, a fine of up to Rs 5 million, or both, under Section 16.
Which courts and law govern disputes?
Pakistani law applies, and Pakistani courts hear any dispute. That is the formal answer, and in practice almost nothing reaches it. The corrections lane on the contact page settles factual complaints far faster than any formal route, and it costs nothing.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What do I agree to by using cnicsiminfo.pk?
You agree to use cnicsiminfo.pk for information only and to stay within the law. That means no scraping or bulk data collection, no attempt to look up anyone but yourself, and no use of these guides for an illegal purpose. The site has no accounts, no payments and no lookup tool, and the laws of Pakistan govern the whole arrangement.
Can I republish your content?
Not the articles, and not in full. You may read our pages, link to them, and quote a short passage with attribution and a link back. Our fact-card images are the exception: reuse them free, even commercially, under our image use policy. Copying our text wholesale and passing it off as your own is not allowed.
Which law governs these terms of service?
The laws of Pakistan govern the cnicsiminfo.pk terms of service, and Pakistani courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. PECA 2016 applies to online conduct on its own, whether or not these terms mention it. Nothing written on this page can widen or narrow what that statute already says.
Do these terms of service let me check another person’s SIM owner details?
No, and no page on this site offers that. The official methods we explain work only for the CNIC you hold yourself. Checking another person’s identity without lawful authority is an offence under Section 16 of PECA 2016, punishable by up to three years in prison, a fine of up to Rs 5 million, or both.
