What We Cannot Do

Please note — we cannot trace or identify anyone

We CANNOT look up SIMs for you, tell you who owns a phone number, or provide anyone’s personal data. No such database exists here, and there’s no access to one either. Requests to trace or identify another person will not be answered — doing so without lawful authority is an offence under PECA 2016 (Section 16). To check your own CNIC, use PTA’s 668 or cnic.sims.pk as explained in our guide: Check SIM Owner Details Pakistan.

Response Time When You Contact Us

We aim to respond within 2–3 business days. For urgent telecom problems contact PTA (0800-55055, complaint.pta.gov.pk) or the NCCIA cybercrime helpline (1799).

Quick FAQ

Can you tell me who owns this number?

No. There is no legal public reverse-lookup in Pakistan; only you can check your own CNIC, and accessing another person’s data without authority is illegal under PECA 2016.

Can you remove a SIM from my CNIC?

No — visit the operator’s franchise with your original CNIC and file a PTA complaint; our guide explains the steps.

Before you contact us: 30 seconds of prep

For corrections, include four things: the page URL, the exact sentence or figure you’re challenging, your source (a PTA notice, a court order, a named news report), and a screenshot if the issue is visual. That’s usually everything we need to verify and fix in one pass. Substantive corrections are noted openly on the page they touch, and if you want credit by name, say so; we’re happy to give it.

For everything official, go to the authority directly, it’s faster than routing through us. PTA’s helpline 0800-55055 or complaint.pta.gov.pk for service complaints, the PTA Digital Assistant on WhatsApp at 0315-0055055 for quick questions. NCCIA at 1799 or complaint.nccia.gov.pk for cybercrime; NADRA at 1777 (mobile) or 051-111-786-100 for identity documents; and your operator’s own helpline (Jazz 111, Zong 310, Telenor 345, Ufone 333) for SIM-specific service issues.

Can you tell me who owns a number if I email you proof of harassment?

No, and that’s a legal boundary, not a policy preference: another person’s SIM data is protected under PECA 2016 Section 16. What works: report the number to NCCIA at 1799 or complaint.nccia.gov.pk; they can lawfully obtain what nobody else can.

Do you accept guest posts, paid links or “SEO collaborations”?

No. Every page on this site is written and reviewed by the same editor against the same sourcing rules. Emails offering placements are deleted unanswered; this contact us page exists for readers, not link vendors.

Can you walk me through disowning a SIM I don’t recognize?

The short version: screenshot your 668 or portal result, visit that operator’s franchise with your original CNIC, say “SIM Disowning”, complete the fingerprint step, and keep the written reference. A full walkthrough, including the 365-day rule for new SIMs, lives in the main guide linked above.

Which email should privacy requests go to?

The same one: [email protected], with “Privacy” in the subject so it gets flagged. Since we store nothing beyond correspondence, most requests resolve within a week.
