Disclaimer

1. What This Disclaimer Covers

All information on CnicSimInfo, including our main guide Check SIM Owner Details Pakistan, is published in good faith for general informational and educational purposes only, not professional advice of any kind.
2. No Legal Advice
This disclaimer applies site-wide: references to PECA 2016, PTA rules or NADRA procedures are general explanations, not legal advice, and are not a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer. Consult a licensed professional for your specific situation.
3. Accuracy & Changes
PTA short-codes (668, 667, 76367), the cnic.sims.pk portal, SMS charges, SIM limits and rules can change without notice. We strive for accuracy but make no warranty of completeness or currency, so always verify on official PTA/NADRA channels before acting.
4. No Affiliation
CnicSimInfo is an independent guide. It is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official channel of the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), NADRA, the Government of Pakistan, or any telecom operator (Jazz, Zong, Telenor, Ufone, SCO, ONIC). Official methods are all we explain; all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
5. External Links
Our site links to external sites (e.g. official PTA/NADRA pages). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or availability of external sites, and a link is not an endorsement.
6. We Do Not Store or Look Up Data
Nothing is collected or stored here: no CNIC, no phone number, no lookup tool, no database. We only show you how to use PTA’s own official self-check methods for your own identity. Looking up another person’s SIM/identity data without lawful authority is illegal in Pakistan under PECA 2016 — Section 16 makes it an offence. The punishment runs up to three years’ imprisonment or a fine up to five million rupees, or both. We do not facilitate, encourage or assist any such lookup.
7. No Liability — Use at Your Own Risk
Any action you take based on information on this site is strictly at your own risk. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, this site or external sites it links to.
8. Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure
This site is free and supported by advertising, primarily Google AdSense, with ads clearly distinguishable from content. We sell no products and use no paid affiliate links; we receive no commission for any official method we describe. Third parties, including Google, may use cookies and web beacons to serve ads — see our Privacy Policy.
What this disclaimer means in practice
Three concrete examples. The 668 SMS fee we quote (about Rs 2 including tax) is the verified figure at our last review. Operators and taxes change, so the reply on your own phone is the binding number. Franchise procedures like SIM disowning follow one official pattern, yet individual outlets sometimes ask for an extra document or a second visit; the franchise’s written receipt is your reference, not our page. And timelines we describe (24 to 48 hours for records to update, about four working days for porting) are typical, not promised. PTA and NADRA systems have queues and outages like any other national infrastructure.
Do you guarantee 668 or cnic.sims.pk is always available?
No. Both belong to PTA, not us, and both occasionally have maintenance windows or outages. If a check fails, wait and retry, or ask PTA directly at 0800-55055; nothing on this site can fix or bypass an official system.
Why do your numbers sometimes differ from other websites?
Because this disclaimer’s parent site only publishes figures traceable to a named source: a statute, a PTA or NADRA notice, a court order, or named national press. Many sites republish each other instead; our myths page documents the worst examples.
Who is responsible if someone misuses this information?
They are. Every method here works only on your own CNIC. Using anything, anywhere, to reach another person’s identity is an offence under PECA 2016 Section 16, and the person doing it carries that risk alone.
