In short, this disclaimer comes down to what we do and what we cannot do:
- We explain official methods, such as the PTA 668 SMS check and the free cnic.sims.pk portal.
- We do not run any check for you, because this site has no form, no database and no SIM information tool.
- We cover your own CNIC only, so every method we describe is a self-check by the person who holds that identity card.
- We are not the government. PTA and NADRA set and publish the rules, and we only explain them in plain language.
- We can fall out of date, because codes, fees and SIM rules change. When our page and an official reply disagree, the official reply wins.

This section of the disclaimer matters most. We do not collect, store or look up your data: this site holds no CNIC numbers, no phone numbers, no lookup tool and no database. We only show you how to use PTA’s own official self-check methods for your own identity.
- No form on this site asks for your CNIC or your mobile number.
- We hold no SIM database, and we cannot see anyone’s SIM owner details.
- We cannot check a number for you, and we do not take requests to try.
- Every method we publish is one you run yourself, on your own identity.
Looking up another person’s SIM or identity data without lawful authority is a criminal offence in Pakistan under PECA 2016, Section 16. The penalty is up to three years in prison, a fine of up to five million rupees, or both. We do not facilitate, encourage or assist any such lookup.

We will not be liable for loss or damage arising from your use of this site, from reliance on what it says, or from the external sites it links to. Three everyday examples show where this disclaimer bites: where our guidance stops and an official record takes over:
- Fees: the 668 SMS fee we quote is about Rs 2 including tax, which was the verified figure at our last review. Taxes and operator charges change, so the amount on your own bill is the binding one.
- Franchise visits: SIM disowning follows one official pattern, but some outlets still ask for an extra document or a second visit. The written receipt from that franchise is your reference, not our page.
- Timelines: we describe 24 to 48 hours for records to update, and about four working days for porting. These timings are typical, not promised, because PTA and NADRA systems have queues and outages like any other national system.
Do you guarantee 668 or cnic.sims.pk is always available?
No, and this disclaimer says so plainly: neither the 668 SMS service nor the cnic.sims.pk portal carries any uptime guarantee from us, because both belong to PTA and both can go down for maintenance. If a check fails, wait a while and try again, or ask PTA directly on its 0800-55055 helpline. Nothing published here can fix or bypass an official system.
Can this site show SIM owner details for any number?
No. This site cannot show SIM owner details for any number, and no legitimate site can. PTA’s official checks return your own registration data only, after you prove your own identity. There is no public tool in Pakistan that names the owner behind a stranger’s number, so treat any site claiming otherwise as unsafe.
Why do your numbers sometimes differ from other websites?
Our figures differ from other sites because we publish only numbers we can trace to a named source: a statute, a PTA or NADRA notice, a court order, or named national press. Many sites simply republish each other, so outdated figures survive for years, and our SIM myths fact-check documents the worst examples.
Who is responsible if someone misuses this information?
Whoever misuses the information carries that responsibility alone. Every method we publish works only on the reader’s own CNIC, so misuse means stepping outside what this site describes. Reaching another person’s identity data without lawful authority is an offence under PECA 2016, Section 16, and the person who does it carries the legal risk.
