I read the actual PTA notices, NADRA advisories and court rulings, and turn them into plain, honest answers you can trust — in English and Roman-Urdu. I review the whole guide every quarter so it stays current.

I’m Muhammad Hamza, the founder and editor of CnicSimInfo. I spend my time following Pakistan’s telecom and identity rules closely, so you don’t have to dig through scattered notices and contradictory websites.
- I read primary sources. PTA notices and short-code lists, NADRA advisories, Supreme Court reporting, PECA 2016, and PKCERT/NCCIA enforcement updates.
- I write from real use. The 668 SMS, the cnic.sims.pk portal, 667, 76367 and the biometric codes are all explained from how they actually behave.
- I correct the myths openly. Where other pages get the SIM limit, dates or penalties wrong, this guide sets them straight with the verified figure and its source.
- I update on a schedule. The whole guide is reviewed every quarter, and the “last reviewed” date is kept current.

How We Source & Fact-Check
Every figure on this site has to earn its place. Here is the standard we hold ourselves to:
- Named sources only. If a number or date can’t be traced to PTA, NADRA, the Supreme Court, PKCERT, NCCIA or a serious news outlet, we leave it out.
- No drifting statistics. When a “fact” appears as different numbers on different sites, we treat it as fabricated and don’t publish it.
- Corrections welcome. If you ever find something out of date or wrong, contact us and we’ll check it and fix it — openly.
- Privacy first. We store no CNIC or phone numbers, run no lookup, and never sell data. The checker tool works entirely in your browser.

How a page about SIMs actually gets made
The routine behind everything you read about CnicSimInfo publishing: a change appears (a PTA advisory, a NADRA notice, a court order). It gets verified against a second independent source, and the codes involved get re-tested on the editor’s own SIMs where that’s legal and possible. Only then does a dated page go live. Claims that fail verification don’t get quietly skipped. They get documented on the myths page with a verdict, because the fastest way to help readers is to name what’s false, not just repeat what’s true.
Are you affiliated with PTA, NADRA or any operator?
No. CnicSimInfo is fully independent, and that independence is load-bearing: it’s why the site can say plainly which viral claims are fabricated and which official services actually work as advertised.
Why trust a one-editor site over a big portal?
Don’t trust either on reputation; trust the receipts. Every fact about CnicSimInfo’s pages traces to a named source you can check yourself. Corrections are public, and the site runs no lookup tool, so it has no incentive to exaggerate anything.
How is the site funded?
Clearly labeled ads. No paid lookups (those are illegal), no sponsored posts, no selling of anything. If that funding model ever changes, this about page and the terms change first.
