No SIM tracker in Pakistan can show a live location. No app or site returns a stranger’s owner details either. Every “live sim tracker” or “pak sim tracker” listing you find is fake, a data-harvester or malware. A “sim tracker online” in a browser tab is no different. Location sits with the operator alone. It is released only to law enforcement, and only under a legal process. Can a live SIM tracker find a number in Pakistan?
No, it cannot. No app, website or APK in Pakistan can show the live location of a SIM. Location data stays inside the operator’s core network and reaches investigators only through a court-backed process. As of September 2026, the only official checks PTA points to are 668, cnic.sims.pk, 667 and 76367, and none of them returns a location.
Type “live sim tracker pakistan” into any store and results flood back. Every one of them is lying. Your handset knows roughly where it is, and the tower knows which phones it serves. Neither hands that to a stranger holding an APK. A location is not a public field, the way a network is, or the count of SIMs registered on a CNIC. Location is guarded network data, and it answers to the operator and the regulator, never to a download.

So when a site promises real-time pins on any number for a small fee, the product is not tracking. The product is you.
Does a SIM tracker online work any better than an app?
No. A SIM tracker online runs into the same wall an app does: location data never leaves the operator’s core network. A website cannot query a tower, so it shows a random pin or a loading bar that never ends. The only things it collects are the number you typed and your payment.

A lost phone is a race against misuse, not a mapping puzzle. Call the helpline of your operator first and have the SIM suspended. That stops anyone sending messages or draining a wallet on your number. Our guide to blocking or disowning a SIM lists the steps in order. Next, file an FIR at the nearest police station. That report is what lets you formally reclaim the line. Then block the handset itself. Dial *#06# to read its IMEI, and lodge that with your operator. The DIRBS device system then bars the phone from every Pakistani network. A barred handset is worthless to a thief, which shields you far better than a location pin ever could.
Harassment and blackmail drive most of the rest. The fix is a real agency, not an app. Screenshot the calls or messages, and keep the dates and the numbers. File with the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency on 1799 or at complaint.nccia.gov.pk. Plain nuisance spam goes to the PTA line 9000 instead. These channels can lawfully act on the number behind the calls. No tracker can.
What does a live SIM tracker app really do?
A live SIM tracker app harvests your phone instead of finding a target. The permission list tells the whole story. Before it draws a single map, it wants your contacts, your SMS, your call log, your location and your storage. None of that is needed to find a stranger, and the app cannot find anyone anyway.
Whatever it brands itself — locator, finder or near-identical clone — those permissions exist to strip your device.

The fake tracker does not find a target. It makes one, and the target is whoever installed it.

What is “live tracker sim data” really?
“Live tracker sim data” is a sales label, not a service. Sites pushing the phrase bundle old leaked records and dress them up as live tracking. Nothing in those files is live. Nothing in them tracks. The names and addresses are stale copies of breached databases, sold to whoever pays first.
The crackdown on that trade is real. Pakistan had blocked 1,372 data-selling platforms by September 2025, and an NCCIA-led action removed 139 more in October 2025. Trading in such records is exactly what PECA Section 16 punishes, on the seller’s side and the buyer’s alike.

Who can legally access location data?
Only law enforcement can, and only through a court. Location data does get accessed in Pakistan, lawfully and rarely. When a serious crime is under investigation, police or the NCCIA can ask an operator for location and call-detail records. That request is never a quiet phone call to a friend inside the company. It moves through a court-sanctioned process tied to a registered case, usually built on an FIR.
The operator then releases the data only to the authorised agency. No private citizen sits anywhere in that chain. The same boundary sinks every promise of CNIC tracking in Pakistan: the only trackers that work are NADRA’s own status tools.
Trying to buy your way in, whether from an insider, an agent or an app, is exactly what PECA Section 16 punishes. SIM tracker owner details: what can you check?
You can check the network behind a number, and nothing else. No tracker hands you the owner details of a stranger, and none pins a live location. SMS the letter N, then the number, to 76367 and the reply names the current operator after any MNP porting. It carries a standard SMS charge, and it never returns a name, an address or a location.

One code often mislabelled a tracker is 667. Texting MNP to 667 returns the registered name, partly masked CNIC and activation date of the sending SIM only — it cannot take another number as input, ever. These bodies can act on the number lawfully; no tracker app can.
Can I at least find a location from the network?
No. The 76367 service tells you only which network currently runs a number after any porting. It never returns a location, a name or an address. Network and location are different things: one is a public lookup, the other is protected carrier data. Use 76367 to route a call or a complaint correctly, not to find someone.
Are “family locator” apps illegal too?
It depends on consent. A locator that everyone in the group installs and agrees to is a device feature, not SIM tracking. So are parental controls on a phone used by a minor. Secretly following another adult without their knowledge is a privacy violation, and it can fall under PECA Section 16. Consent is the line.
Police told me a location was traced. Why is that legal but an app is not?
The two sit on opposite sides of the law. Police trace a location through a court-sanctioned request tied to a registered case, and the operator releases it only to that authorised agency. It is marketing language for stolen data. The phrase describes recycled leaked databases relabelled as live tracking. The files are stale, the live claim is false, and no tracking happens at all.
