Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 July 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how CnicSimInfo (“we”, “us”, “the site”, cnicsiminfo.pk) handles information when you visit our free informational guide.

1. This Privacy Policy: Scope & Introduction

CnicSimInfo is a free informational guide operated from Pakistan that explains how to check the SIMs registered on your own CNIC using official PTA methods (SMS 668, the cnic.sims.pk portal, 667 and 76367). The full step-by-step guide is here: Check SIM Owner Details Pakistan. This privacy policy covers the cnicsiminfo.pk website only.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

CnicSimInfo privacy policy 2026 — no CNIC or phone numbers stored, no lookup tools

We do NOT collect, store, log, sell or share your CNIC number or your phone number. Nor do we operate any SIM-lookup tool that accepts a third party’s number, and we have NO database of SIM owners, CNICs or phone numbers. And no PTA, NADRA or government database is within our reach. Anything you enter into an official tool (668 or cnic.sims.pk) goes to PTA — not to us.

3. Information We Do Collect

When you contact us by email or our contact form we receive the name, email address and message you choose to send, solely to reply to you. Our contact form is delivered by a third-party form service (FormSubmit), which forwards your message to us and processes only what you submit. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically receives limited technical data: IP address (often truncated/anonymized), browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page and timestamps.

4. Cookies — First-Party

We use a small number of first-party cookies for basic site functionality and to remember preferences. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site’s information content will still work.

5. Cookies & Advertising — Google AdSense

Required Google AdSense disclosure

Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to your website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and/or other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Ads Settings (https://www.google.com/settings/ads). Alternatively, you can direct users to opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

Third parties may place and read cookies on your browser, or use web beacons, as a result of ad serving on this site.

6. Third-Party Vendors & Ad Networks

Ads are served by Google and may involve other third-party ad-tech vendors. We do not control their cookies. Google’s advertising practices: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads. For other vendors see www.aboutads.info and the Network Advertising Initiative (networkadvertising.org).

7. Log Files

Our host keeps standard server logs (IP, user agent, time, pages) for security and diagnostics; these are not used to identify individuals and are retained only as long as needed.

8. Children’s Privacy

This site is intended for adults checking their own identity records. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Nor do we allow ad targeting based on users known to be under 13, consistent with Google’s policies and COPPA norms.

9. Data Security

We use HTTPS and reasonable safeguards. Because we hold almost no personal data, your exposure on this site is minimal; however, no internet transmission is 100% secure.

10. Your Rights & Choices

You may ask us to delete any email correspondence you sent us. Cookies stay in your hands: control them via your browser and opt out of personalized ads (links above).

11. International Data Transfers

Google and other providers may process data on servers outside Pakistan. By using the site you understand that data handled by these third parties may be transferred internationally under their own policies.

We operate under Pakistani law, including PECA 2016. As of 2026 Pakistan does NOT yet have a dedicated personal-data-protection statute in force; the Personal Data Protection Bill (2023 draft) was approved in principle by the Federal Cabinet but has not passed Parliament. We apply GDPR-style transparency as best practice.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time; changes take effect when posted with a new “Last updated” date.

14. Contact

Questions or privacy requests: [email protected] or via our Contact page. Use of this site is governed by our Terms of Service.

More privacy policy questions, answered

Do you store CNIC numbers typed into any on-site checker?

No. Any checker on this site runs entirely in your browser: what you type never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us. The only parties that see a CNIC you check officially are PTA’s own 668 and cnic.sims.pk services.

Do you run Google Analytics or similar trackers?

No analytics platform is installed at the time of this privacy policy’s last update. Our visibility into traffic is limited to standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamp), which rotate automatically.

How do I opt out of personalized ads?

Use your browser’s cookie controls, and the industry opt-outs at aboutads.info and Google’s Ads Settings, both linked above. Ads may still appear; they just stop being personalized.

Do you ever sell or share reader data?

Never. There is nothing to sell: we hold no CNIC or phone-number database of any kind. The only personal data we ever touch is the email you voluntarily send us, and it stays in the inbox.

How do I get my data deleted?

Email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy”. Since we store nothing beyond correspondence, deletion means erasing your emails from our inbox, which we confirm back to you within 7 days.

Frequently asked questions

Does CnicSimInfo store my CNIC or phone number?

No. We collect, store and look up nothing. The on-page checker runs in your browser, and your CNIC or number goes only to the official PTA channel you choose (668 or cnic.sims.pk) — never to us.

Do you use cookies or show ads?

We use a few essential first-party cookies so the site works. If advertising such as Google AdSense is shown, third-party cookies may be used; you can opt out via Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info.

How do I make a privacy request?

Email [email protected]. Because we hold almost no personal data, most requests — such as deleting an email you sent us — are simple and quick to action.
