Image Use Policy
You may reuse our fact-card images free of charge, on personal and commercial sites alike, as long as you credit CnicSimInfo.pk visibly next to the image and link back to the page the card came from. Do not alter the figures inside a card. This image use policy covers our fact cards only. Last updated: 5 August 2026.

What does this image use policy allow?
This policy grants a real, free licence. You may copy, republish and display any fact-card image we publish on cnicsiminfo.pk, on personal or commercial websites, in newsletters, in presentations and in social posts, anywhere in the world, provided you credit CnicSimInfo.pk visibly beside the image and link back to the page that card came from.
Who may reuse our fact cards, and what does it cost?
Anyone may, and it costs nothing. Bloggers, news sites, teachers, telecom retailers, forum posters and commercial publishers are all covered by the same terms. There is no registration, no invoice, no licence key and no need to write to us first. We do not charge for reuse and we do not ask for any share of your revenue.
Commercial use is deliberately included in this image use policy, on the same two conditions as everybody else: visible credit, and a working link.
How do you credit and link back correctly?
Put the words CnicSimInfo.pk in the caption, or in a credit line directly beneath the image, where a reader will actually see it. Then add a working link to the exact page the card came from, or to our homepage, Check SIM Owner Details Pakistan. The link must be clickable and must not be blocked from crawling.

What are you not allowed to do with a fact card?
Do not change the figures, dates or wording inside a card. Do not crop out our mark, restyle a card so that it reads as your own graphic, or claim authorship of it. Do not use a card to suggest that we endorse you, your website, your app or your service, because we endorse nobody and never have.
Allowed. You republish our eight-SIM card, caption it “Image: CnicSimInfo.pk”, and link the caption to our page. Your article can disagree with us; the card still carries its credit.
Not allowed. You edit the number on the card, delete our name, or place it beside a claim that your site can retrieve somebody else’s SIM ownership. That is misrepresentation, and this licence does not reach it.
Which of our images does this image use policy cover?
Our own fact cards, and only those: the illustrated summary graphics we make for our guides, like the example above. This licence does not cover our article text, our comparison tables, the CnicSimInfo logo, the author photograph of Muhammad Hamza, or any third-party logo, screenshot or mark that happens to appear inside one of our cards.
Operator names and marks belong to their owners, and nothing here grants you rights over them. If you are unsure whether an image is one of our fact cards, ask us. The answer is usually yes.
Why does the date printed on a card matter?
Every card states facts as of a dated moment, because Pakistan’s SIM rules keep moving. Keep that date visible when you republish, and keep the card’s wording intact, so your readers can judge how fresh the figure is. When a rule changes we update the card on our page, but the copy sitting on your page will not update itself.
That is why the link matters as much as the credit: a reader who follows it lands on the current version of the guide.
Can a reused card be framed as a lookup service?
No. Our cards explain how you check the SIMs registered on your own CNIC through official PTA channels. None of them offers, or implies, a way to retrieve a stranger’s SIM ownership, and you must not caption or frame one as though it does. Reaching another person’s identity without lawful authority is an offence under Section 16 of PECA 2016.
That offence carries up to three years in prison, a fine of up to Rs 5 million, or both. Our full explainer is Is it legal to check SIM owner details in Pakistan?. Using a card to advertise a lookup you cannot lawfully perform ends this permission for you.
How do you ask for anything outside these terms?
Use the contact page. Tell us which card you want, where it will appear and what you need that this image use policy does not already give you: a print run, a modified version, a translated card, use without a visible link, or a bulk set for a report. Most reasonable requests are granted.
The same route handles the opposite problem: if you spot a card republished without credit, or edited so a figure is wrong, tell us.
Why do we give this permission away?
Because accurate cards travelling with a credit line serve everyone. Readers who meet our figure elsewhere get the right number instead of a rumour, that page gets a graphic it did not have to make, and we get the citation. Refusing reuse would not stop copying; it would only strip our name off it.

Can I use CnicSimInfo images on a commercial website?
Yes, free of charge. Commercial sites, ad-supported blogs and business pages are covered by the same terms as everyone else. What exactly counts as proper attribution?
The words CnicSimInfo.pk shown where a reader can see them, in the caption or a credit line directly under the image, plus a clickable link to the source page. A hidden credit, a metadata-only credit, or a link that cannot be followed does not meet this image use policy. One short sentence beneath the image is enough.
May I edit or translate a fact card?
Not under this policy. The figures, dates and wording inside a card must stay exactly as published, because an edited card still carries our name and would misstate what we verified. Resizing an image is fine. For a translation or a modified version, ask through the contact page, and say where it will be published.
Does this licence cover your articles, tables and logo?
No. It covers our fact-card images only. Our article text, comparison tables, the site logo and the author photograph stay under our terms of service, which allow short quotes with attribution but not wholesale republication. Third-party logos or screenshots appearing inside a card are not ours to license either.
What happens if someone uses a card without crediting you?
The permission simply does not apply, and ordinary copyright does. We usually write once and ask for the credit and link to be added, which settles almost every case. Report an uncredited or altered copy through the contact page and we will follow it up ourselves rather than expecting you to.
